UPSC CDS 2 Exam Notification 2024: Apply Online for 459 Posts- Exam Result declared

The Union Public Service Commission has released a Combined Defence Services Examination notification(CDS 2). Interested and eligible candidates can apply for the examination from 15th May to 4th June 2024. The exam will be held on 1st September 2024.

(i) Only single male candidates born between July 02, 2001, and July 1, 2006, are eligible for the IMA.

(ii) Only single male candidates born between July 02, 2001, and July 1, 2006, are eligible to apply to the Indian Naval Academy.

(iii) For Air Force Academy- 20 to 24 years old as of July 1st, 2025, meaning they were born between July 2nd, 2001, and July 1st, 2005. The upper age limit is lenient up to 26 years for candidates who possess a valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India).

Note:- The Indian Army publishes vacancies for both men and women based on current and future operational and administrative requirements. However, there are vacancies for both men and women.

SSC(NT) courses are notified through a single notification, and selection is gender-based, with separate tests for men and women. The final merit lists for both categories are prepared separately and based on gender.

(i) For I.M.A. and Officers’ Training Academy, Chennai:- Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

(ii) For Indian Naval Academy:- Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.

(iii) For Air Force Academy:- Degree of a recognized University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering.

Syllabus For Examination:-

ENGLISH (Code No. 01)

The purpose of the question paper is to assess the candidates’ command of the English language and their ability to use words neatly.

GENERAL KNOWLEDGE (Code No. 02)

General knowledge, which includes understanding current affairs and topics related to ordinary observation and experience in their scientific aspects, is what one might anticipate from an educated individual who hasn’t specifically studied any scientific field. The exam will also include questions on general geography and Indian history, which candidates should be able to answer without further research.

(i) केवल एकल पुरुष उम्मीदवार जिनका जन्म 02 जुलाई 2001 और 1 जुलाई 2006 के बीच हुआ हो, आईएमए के लिए पात्र हैं।

(ii) केवल एकल पुरुष उम्मीदवार जिनका जन्म 02 जुलाई 2001 और 1 जुलाई 2006 के बीच हुआ हो, भारतीय नौसेना अकादमी में आवेदन करने के पात्र हैं।

(iii)वायु सेना अकादमी के लिए- 1 जुलाई, 2025 तक 20 से 24 वर्ष की आयु, जिसका अर्थ है कि उनका जन्म 2 जुलाई, 2001 और 1 जुलाई, 2005 के बीच हुआ है। वैध और वर्तमान वाणिज्यिक पायलट लाइसेंस जारी करने वाले उम्मीदवारों के लिए ऊपरी आयु सीमा 26 वर्ष तक है। डीजीसीए (भारत) द्वारा।

टिप्पणी:- भारतीय सेना वर्तमान और भविष्य की परिचालन और प्रशासनिक आवश्यकताओं के आधार पर पुरुषों और महिलाओं दोनों के लिए भर्तियां प्रकाशित करती है। हालांकि, पुरुषों और महिलाओं दोनों के लिए रिक्तियां हैं।

(ii) भारतीय नौसेना अकादमी के लिए:- किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय/संस्थान से इंजीनियरिंग में डिग्री।

(iii) वायु सेना अकादमी के लिए:- किसी मान्यता प्राप्त विश्वविद्यालय की डिग्री (10+2 स्तर पर भौतिकी और गणित के साथ) या बैचलर ऑफ इंजीनियरिंग।
