Pay Scale:-

Stenographer Grade C:- The pay matrix spans from Rs 4,200 or Rs 4,600.

Stenographer Grade D:- Rs. 2,400 Grade Pay for Grade D.

Age Limit:-

Stenographer Grade ‘C’:- 18 to 30 years, born not before 02.08.1994 and not later than 01.08.2006.

Stenographer Grade ‘D’:- 18 to 27 years, born not before 02.08.1997 and not later than 01.08.2006.

Note:- Permissible relaxation in upper age limit as per the gov. rules.

Educational Qualification:-

• Applicants must have completed their 12th class or its equivalent qualification from a board or university that is recognized.
• To apply online, individuals must have the necessary educational qualifications by the deadline.

Selection Process:-

A) Written Exam:- Minimum qualifying marks in Computer Based Examination, are as follows: 

(i) UR: 30% 

(ii) OBC/EWS: 25% 

(iii) All Other Categories: 20%

• B) Skill Test in Stenography:

The details of the Computer Based Examination are mentioned below:-

• NOTE:- There will only be one objective type multiple choice question paper. There will be questions in Hindi and English.
• There will be a negative marking equal to one-third(⅓) of the marks allotted to the question for each wrong answer in (CBT) Computer Based Examination.

Skill Test in Stenography:

Candidates shortlisted from the Computer-Based Examination will be required to take a Skill Test for Stenography. They will receive a 10-minute dictation in either English or Hindi, depending on their choice in the online application form. The dictation speed will be 100 words per minute (w.p.m.) for Stenographer Grade ‘C’ and 80 w.p.m. for Stenographer Grade ‘D’. The dictated text must be transcribed on a computer. The transcription times are as follows:

Candidates must be either:-

(a) a citizen of India, or 

(b) a subject of Nepal, or 

(c) a subject of Bhutan, or 

(d) a person of Indian origin who has migrated from Pakistan, Myanmar, Sri Lanka, East African countries of Kenya, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania (Formerly Tanganyika and Zanzibar), Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia and Vietnam intending to permanently settle in India.

शैक्षणिक योग्यता:-

• आवेदकों को किसी मान्यता प्राप्त बोर्ड या विश्वविद्यालय से 12वीं कक्षा या इसके समकक्ष योग्यता पूरी करनी होगी।
• ऑनलाइन आवेदन करने के लिए व्यक्तियों के पास अंतिम तिथि तक आवश्यक शैक्षणिक योग्यता होनी चाहिए।

चयन प्रक्रिया:-

ए) लिखित परीक्षा:- कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा में न्यूनतम योग्यता अंक इस प्रकार हैं:

(i) यू.आर: 30%

(ii) ओबीसी/ईडब्ल्यूएस: 25%

(iii) अन्य सभी श्रेणियाँ: 20%

• बी) स्टेनोग्राफर में कौशल परीक्षण:
• सी) दस्तावेज़ सत्यापन
• डी) योग्यता आधारित

कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा का विवरण नीचे दिया गया है:-

• टिप्पणी:- केवल एक वस्तुनिष्ठ प्रकार का बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न पत्र होगा। हिंदी और अंग्रेजी में प्रश्न होंगे.
• (सीबीटी) कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा में प्रत्येक गलत उत्तर के लिए प्रश्न को आवंटित अंकों के एक तिहाई (⅓) के बराबर नकारात्मक अंकन होगा।

कौशल परीक्षा (स्टेनोग्राफी):

कंप्यूटर आधारित परीक्षा में शॉर्टलिस्ट किए गए उम्मीदवारों को स्टेनोग्राफी के लिए कौशल परीक्षा देनी होगी। उन्हें 10 मिनट की डिक्टेशन इंग्लिश या हिंदी में दी जाएगी, जो उन्होंने ऑनलाइन आवेदन फॉर्म में चुनी होगी। डिक्टेशन की गति स्टेनोग्राफर ग्रेड ‘सी’ के लिए 100 शब्द प्रति मिनट (w.p.m.) और स्टेनोग्राफर ग्रेड ‘डी’ के लिए 80 शब्द प्रति मिनट होगी। डिक्टेशन को कंप्यूटर पर ट्रांसक्राइब करना होगा। ट्रांसक्रिप्शन का समय इस प्रकार है:
