Selection Process
Online Screening Test (OST):- This is an online multiple-choice exam that candidates must pass to be eligible for the positions. The OST scorecard remains valid for a lifetime.
- Regular Applicants:- Must achieve at least 50% (100 marks) within 2 years of appointment.
- Fixed-Term Applicants:- Must secure 40% (80 marks) within 1 year.
Interview:- Candidates who have cleared the OST will be interviewed. Regular posts are managed by the Central Selection Board (CSB), while fixed-term posts are overseen by the Local Selection Board (LSB).
Evaluation:- Language teachers will complete a 30-mark written test covering essay and comprehension. Computer proficiency assessments may also be conducted if necessary.
AWES Exam Pattern & Marking Scheme
For each category, there will be a single question paper totalling 200 marks. This includes one paper for the Foundational stage and PRT, and separate subject-specific papers for PGT and TGT. The exam will be held online, consisting of 200 multiple-choice questions. Candidates will receive one mark for each correct answer, with a penalty of 1/4 mark for each incorrect response. The exam duration is 3 hours.

चयन प्रक्रिया
ऑनलाइन स्क्रीनिंग टेस्ट (ओएसटी):- यह एक ऑनलाइन बहुविकल्पीय परीक्षा है जिसे पदों के लिए पात्र होने के लिए उम्मीदवारों को उत्तीर्ण करना होगा। OST स्कोरकार्ड जीवन भर के लिए वैध रहता है।
- नियमित आवेदक:- नियुक्ति के 2 वर्ष के भीतर कम से कम 50% (100 अंक) प्राप्त करने होंगे।
- निश्चित अवधि आवेदक:- 1 वर्ष के भीतर 40% (80 अंक) प्राप्त करने होंगे।
साक्षात्कार:- जिन उम्मीदवारों ने ओएसटी पास कर लिया है उनका साक्षात्कार लिया जाएगा। नियमित पदों का प्रबंधन केंद्रीय चयन बोर्ड (सीएसबी) द्वारा किया जाता है, जबकि निश्चित अवधि के पदों की देखरेख स्थानीय चयन बोर्ड (एलएसबी) द्वारा की जाती है।
मूल्यांकन:- भाषा शिक्षक निबंध और समझ को कवर करने वाली 30 अंकों की लिखित परीक्षा पूरी करेंगे। यदि आवश्यक हो तो कंप्यूटर दक्षता मूल्यांकन भी आयोजित किया जा सकता है।
AWES परीक्षा पैटर्न और अंक
प्रत्येक श्रेणी के लिए कुल 200 अंकों का एक प्रश्न पत्र होगा। इसमें फाउंडेशनल स्टेज और पीआरटी के लिए एक पेपर और पीजीटी और टीजीटी के लिए अलग-अलग विषय-विशिष्ट पेपर शामिल हैं। परीक्षा ऑनलाइन आयोजित की जाएगी, जिसमें 200 बहुविकल्पीय प्रश्न होंगे। उम्मीदवारों को प्रत्येक सही उत्तर के लिए एक अंक मिलेगा, प्रत्येक गलत प्रतिक्रिया के लिए 1/4 अंक का दंड दिया जाएगा। परीक्षा की अवधि 3 घंटे है.
